HOW IT WORKS

How counseling works at Compass

Counseling at Compass is designed for virtual learners and the families who support them. Scholars and Learning Coaches can connect with counseling when they need guidance, planning, resources, or help identifying the next step.

Start with the need

A scholar, Learning Coach, teacher, or support team member can share what kind of help is needed.

Connect with counseling

A counselor helps understand the concern, ask questions, and identify the best next step.

Make a plan

Together, the scholar, family, and counseling team can connect to resources, referrals, or school supports that fit the situation.

Counseling support may happen by virtual meeting, phone, email, or referral to the right Compass team or outside resource, depending on the need.
